Implementing the Intelligent Driver Model in a physical vehicle simulator

The Intelligent Driver Model was introduced in 2000 by M. Treiber et al. as a mathematical car following model for traffic micro- simulation. It is an obvious question whether this applicable physical vehicle simulator, which would be big step forward real application. Of course, it also essential that the can applied to description of conditions - thus take into account speed-density relationship [10]. In present work implemented CARLA simulator. First simulators acceleration-control functions are established. These give amount throttle or brake control values achieve desired acceleration. Having these and tested with simple simulation experiments.
